So here it is. I've finally decided to start a blog. I've blogged sporadically on various social networks before, but never started anything I've actually kept up with for any extended period of time. This is an attempt to change that. An attempt to put my thoughts and opinions relating to matters important to me into a meaningful channel of communication, for better or for worse. A way to share another aspect of myself that usually hides behind insecurity and doubt for others to see.
Here are some things I aim to include in this blog:
- Explorations into the visual arts
- Forays into poetry
- Analysis and review of new and classic music I find to be exceptional
- Sharing of my own personal recipes and drink concoctions
- Passing on of digital content I consider to be worthwhile
- Shameless whoring of projects involving friends and family
- Terrible puns and offbeat humor
- Movie recommendations and reviews
- Science/News articles I find to be interesting
- Random tangents based on my mood at the given time
- Other bullshit
My main goal is just to share a bit of my inner monologue with the rest of the world and challenge myself to enter into new areas of creativity and self-expression.
